Layer 8

Security is fundamentally about people, and everything we know about people is relevant to security. -- B. Schneier

Exponential ... something.

Last month was my highest ever in terms of total “unique visitors” to this site.

This month, I’ve just passed that number today.

Wow.  Are there just more script kiddies knocking at the door?

It might have to do with the number of posts? smile

I know Rothman linked to you once or twice in recent weeks, and I think others have seen hit count boosts when those occur.

So you’re saying that if I post more than three times in a month, the same two readers will switch IPs and read the posts hundreds of times? wink

The actual number of referrals through the linked sites isn’t that high—maybe 20, tops.  That’s why I think it’s just more net.noise.

But whoever’s coming in through i.am.all.evil.and.ob5cure.com really cracks me up every time I see the domain name ... grin

Nah, it just means that we love you, and others are learning the same thing.  grin

I think the more you post the more chance you have of someone else linking to you and/or recommending you. smile

But yeah, could be more net noise as well!
