Security is fundamentally about people, and everything we know about people is relevant to security. -- B. Schneier

More than a hint of ridiculous.

Since Rob’s been encouraging me, and because it’s been That Kind of Day already, I thought I’d share with you a ditty that just popped into my head:

(To the tune of “Sing a Song of Sixpence”)

Sing a song of hacking,
The boss is getting spam;
All the sleazy vendors
Know who I am;
I can’t get my work done,
They all come bitch at me,
Why, oh why am I still working in securitee?

Nice! I think it would be a good exercise to write a security/IT haiku a day. wink

It is a labor of love, this field!

Actually, what others songs could I request?  99 bottles of beer on the wall? Momma’s gonna buy you a mockingbird?

99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer!
Take one down, for a server’s pwnd, 98 bottles of beer on the wall!

Doesn’t look like you’re doing much work to me!

Have you seen this: http://www.randomhaiku.com/ the results are astounding:

Balancing my chair,
Paris borrowed my fingers,
Under the gravel.

I can’t say it any better than that.
Keep up the good work.
